The role of a closed circuit television operator is one of today’s most high profile security positions. CCTV operations is a relatively new aspect of security operations when compared to the more traditional and established services. It is important to consider that the quality of surveillance information is only as good as the operative that monitor footage.

The industry has made considerable technological advances in recent years, which means that the skills of a CCTV operator also need to develop on a continuous basis. Our CCTV operators are training to the highest standards and have regular on-going assessments and refresher training to keep their skills base relevant and current.

  • To assist the system owner in providing any of its prosecuting or contracted services
  • To assist in the management of the town centre or specific site

 

All of our CCTV Operatives undergo training in:

  • First aid
  • Drugs Awareness
  • Conflict Management Skills
  • Physical Intervention Skills
  • Good knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984
  • Recognition of firearms and explosives
  • Customer Services
